Responsibilities

As a PT General Laborer, you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects on a part-time, temporary basis.

In addition, you will:

• Be responsible for various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites with the use of hand tools like shovels, rakes, and picks 
• Work in outdoor utility construction sites
• Build and maintain aerial and underground cable systems
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
• Learn and train to use various kinds of tools and equipment

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety is a part of your day-to-day
• You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
• You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
• You are looking for long-term projects
• You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
• You have a valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a DOT Med card for driving purposes (Applicants are subject to an MVR review and must meet company standards for a safe driving record) 

• Travel -

  · Monday through Friday travel expected 50% of the year.

  · Per diem M-Thur. & Fri. if they work till noon, anyone 60+ from home ($90/day).

  · 50+ hours per week. Overtime applies after 40 hours per week. Work is weather dependent.
