MasTec Communications Group performs both wireline and wireless communication services on a national scale. We are experts in cell tower construction, RF engineering, broadband fiber optic cable installation, OSP engineering, wireline construction, and emergency maintenance services.

Responsibilities

As a General Laborer, you will support Operations crews on a variety of Telecom Construction projects. This position works primarily in the yard and warehouse facilities, ensuring crews are prepared and equipped for job sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organize and stage materials for crews; maintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

• Load and unload deliveries, equipment, and contractor materials.

• Assist with general yard and warehouse upkeep to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.

• Operate forklifts, Lulls, or other material-handling equipment.

• Perform manual labor including lifting, carrying, digging, and other physical tasks as required.

Qualifications

About You:

• Safety-focused with a strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality work.

• Hands-on problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team on long-term projects.

• Able to lift 50 lbs independently / 100 lbs with assistance.

• Ability to operate a forklift and Lull (forklift certification preferred).

• Basic computer skills for inventory and tracking.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record; CDL preferred.
